A creative collective formed through a shared ambition of staging thoughtful, engaging and contemporary exhibitions and arts events. We aim to bring together a diverse mix of contemporary arts practices through the medium of exhibition-making. Springing from arts backgrounds which cover performance, fine art, critical theory, publishing, video and sound, we hope to promote our wide ranging interests through the trans-disciplinary nature of Chance Encounters.
By holding this exhibition we aim to bring together artists capturing and orchestrating chance encounters, both within and outside the gallery space. These could range from interventions with the environment and the public, to performance interpretations, and to process-based ideas.
